How to make your own organic mosquito repellent

It is proven and well known that mosquitoes do not like lemon odors. If the essential oil of lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) is used as a repellent, planting it in your garden near your terrace will be just as effective. Indeed, this grass owes its lemony smell the ability to move mosquitoes particularly well. But other plants that exalt a citrus scent can fight against mosquitoes is the case of lemon thyme, lemon balm, lemon basil, verbena lemongrass or eucalyptus.
