How to take an Epsom salt bath
The first step is to take at least 40 minutes, because you need about 20 minutes to eliminate the toxins, and the next 20 minutes the body absorbs the minerals in the bath water.
Fill your bathtub with hot water. It’s even better if you have a water filtration system in your home to reduce chlorine, fluorine, dioxins and toxic heavy metals. Add the Epsom salts in the following quantities:
Less than 30kg: Add 1/2 cup of salts in a standard size bath
Between 30-50 kg: Add 1 cup of salt in a standard size bath
Between 50-75 kg: Add 1 1/2 cups of salt in a standard size bath
Between 75-100 kg: Add 2 cups of salt in a standard size bath
Add ½ cup of Epsom salts every 25kg.
Adding 1/2 cup of olive oil is also very good for the skin because the polyphenols penetrate the skin and give additional antioxidant benefits. Adding ginger or cayenne can increase your heat level, which will help you eliminate toxins.
Do not use soap in an Epsom salt bath, as it will interfere with the action of the minerals and the detoxification process. Try to rest for an hour or two after, unless you have joint arthritis, stay active as much as possible to avoid congestion of the joints.
