Members of the cross-country team at St. Joseph High School in California decided to invite them to their daily training. So each member had a dog partner before leaving for a run of several kilometers. Everyone was delighted.
It is a very nice way to offer a little moment of escape and well-being to the dogs of the Santa Barbara refuge, and at the same time to vary the training of the cross-country high school team.
Their trainer, Luis Escobar, wrote: “I do not know who is the most excited and the most fun, dogs or children. Anyway, it was a great moment and I’m sure we’ll do it again soon. “
An experience that will have great chances to be renewed. No doubt high school students, like dogs, will love this idea! Hope this inspires other schools to do it!
