A 90-year-old Czech grandmother transforms a small village into an art gallery by hand painting flowers in her homes

Do you remember the small Polish village where each house is covered with painted flowers? Well, a 90-year-old resident of Louka, Czech Republic, aims to make her hometown just as charming and spends every spring and summer adorning the doors and windows with majestic patterns.

Anežka (Agnès) Kašpárková, a former farm worker, took over the hobby of another local woman who had been doing the same thing for years. She uses vibrant blue paint and a small brush to create intricate floral designs inspired by traditional Moravian art (from the south of the Czech Republic). Despite local and viral cheers, she insisted that it was purely for fun. “I am an artist,” she told the Czech media. “I just enjoy and I want to help. “

Age is really just a number, especially when it comes to embracing one’s creativity. Scroll down to see this artist grandmother in action, and let us know if you would not like her to use your house as a canvas.
