Toxic people are not humble. They like to talk about themselves in a way that illustrates arrogance. Their projection of perfection is often disturbing and will surprise you. You may have trouble intervening in the conversation.
2. THEY PLEASE ANYTHING
A toxic person has few positive things to say. Nothing seems to be going well for these people. They will always find something to be unhappy, no matter the situation. If you meet someone who starts out more negative comments than you can count, it’s time to give a subtle excuse to leave.
3. THEY SPEAK ON THE BACK OF OTHERS
Toxic people speak badly of others. They pitch rumors, tell the secrets of others and belittle anyone who comes into contact with them. If someone you meet starts a conversation by blaming someone else, you’ve probably met a toxic person.
4. THEY ACT AS THEY WERE BETTER THAN YOU
It’s easy enough to spot. If you meet someone who immediately starts to denigrate you, you have met a toxic person. These people will tell you about their so-called perfect life and wait for your answer. Then, they will jump at the opportunity to denigrate your worldview apart. Do not let this happen, move away quietly.
5. THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR NEEDS
A toxic person is not interested in your needs. They will not ask you a lot of questions. They often have one-sided conversations. They are very bad listeners. If you find an opening to talk about something that requires decent advice, you can go your way.
6. THEY ARE NEVER SATISFIED
Nothing is ever good enough for these people. They will always find something wrong and will never be satisfied, even during happy occasions. You can try to offer positive feedback or compliment, but nine times out of ten, they will turn anything you say into something negative.
7. THEY MAKE YOU LIKE A LESS THAN NOTHING
It is obvious that such people are incredibly uncomfortable. You may find yourself sitting totally embarrassed because a toxic individual is boasting excessively, belittling you and complaining about everything in life. The presence of this person and his condescending attitude can make you feel like a less than nothing.
8. THEY DO NOT SHOW ANY EMPATHY
Empathy is not in the vocabulary of a toxic person. They do not know or do not try to see situations from the point of view of others. They will quickly express their opinions and will not seek to hear another version because they always feel right.
